What an awesome story. Will never see a swan without thinking of Melissa’s adoption. I am the mother of two adopted children ~ domestic adoptions. You are so right. There is no doubt in my mind that God’s hand was in every moment of building our family. Enjoyed reading, thanks again.

Thank you so much Jamie for allowing me to share our story. It brought me to tears of joy several times while I was writing it. It inspired me to get our “China boxes” out of storage and our family sat and happily went through them reminiscing together. Gabby was so cute as she looked at the pictures and memories.

What a beautiful story. Part of it sounds very familiar. My (yet to be complete) adoption story also includes reading an article about Steven Curtis Chapman and his family. Five years later we are just about to be approved for adoption from foster care.
