A few years ago, I made the decision to monetize my blog. As a full-time mom, I welcome the chance to help my family financially; making money is not my focus for this site, but writing and maintaining my site do take time and brain power.

Disclosure statement (the short version):

Occasionally, I accept sponsored posts, but only when I feel it fits the focus of my blog or may benefit my readers. I will always give my honest opinions, regardless of whether or not I receive compensation.

Sometimes I use affiliate links within posts but these are only for products or curricula we recommend. Purchasing products through these affiliate links does not increase your cost; it simply means I receive a small percentage of the sale.

I sometimes review products I purchased myself, if I believe such a review would be helpful to my readers. I will only endorse products or services that I believe are worthy of endorsement, regardless of compensation. If I am compensated for a review, or if I receive a product in exchange for a review, I will disclose this within the post.

The views expressed on this blog are purely my own opinions, and are not influenced by whether or not I’m paid for the review. I am never required to give a positive review of any product, service or website, regardless of compensation.
