My Husband Ken (aka “SuperMan”):

I married the love of my life in March of 2005. Ken makes every day fun. He is my best friend, my encourager, and my shoulder to lean on. His kisses still make me weak in the knees, and he’s pretty handy around the house, too! Check out Ken’s photography site.
Our Kids –
Brandon – age 20 (and his fiancée Diane!)

My step-son Brandon attends a local university, majoring in music education. With a full load of classes, studying/practicing music, and working part-time, he is a very busy young man! He’s engaged to marry a great girl named Diane next summer (June 2012)!
Lindsey – age 17

God added Lindsey to our family through the blessing of adoption (via our state foster care system). We met her in June 2009, and her adoption was finalized that December, just a few weeks before her 15th birthday. Lindsey is fun-loving, outgoing, and adores children. I know she’ll be a great mom someday.
Kathryn – age 11

Kathryn is so much like me that we sometimes butt heads, but I love learning right along side her. She is silly, often wise beyond her years, and has a great imagination which is fueled by the many books she reads. She hopes we’ll have a farm someday, and she wants to raise chickens and be the gal in charge of egg-collection. Kathryn blogs, too: Faith Girl

Lacy the WonderDog

Smartest. Dog. Ever.
A goofy, amazingly agile rescued greyhound mutt named Lacy rounds out our family. On August 1st of 2007, our sweet 13-year-old dog Ellie passed away. It was just a few weeks later that we adopted Lacy because, to us, a house just isn’t home without the pitter-patter of doggie feet.
