Today I have:
…organized the junk drawer! In fact, it’s not even junky anymore! Now, nobody’s allowed to junk it up again!
…managed to find and purchase two pairs of Old Navy pants that Lindsey is happy with and that meet uniform requirements for the new homeschool hybrid she’ll be attending.
…went to the uniform shop for two shirts with the required logo on them.
…conquered more clutter. Woohoo!
…prayed more than usual. (Because there are more things than usual that need praying about right now.)
…ran around the yard like a crazy person with Lacy the WonderDog.
This is a totally random post because all the other posts running around in my head would take to long to write right now. So to add more randomness, and because every post is better with a picture, I’ll add this photo of a butterfly I chased yesterday evening. For those who like to know, it’s the dark morph of the Eastern Tiger Swallowtail. Another interesting tidbit: only the females are ever the dark morph, but they can also be the usual yellow and black. Males are always yellow with black tiger stripes. And in this photo, the butterfly is perched on the aptly-named butterfly bush (a.k.a. buddleia).
Wife, mama, homeschooler, dog-wrangler. Introvert who finds joy in good books, sunshine, and authentic conversation. Fitness enthusiast and personal trainer. Often seen with a steaming mug of tea in hand.
What a great shot! I LOVE butterflies and all your randomness!
what a beautiful shot of a beautiful creature. 🙂
