Our Labor Day weekend has been gloriously relaxing, mostly consisting of time with family and some delightfully cooler weather. There has definitely been a hint of fall — my very favorite season — in the air. We’ve gone for walks, played outside, had dinner and a round of “Apples to Apples” with all three kids in the same house!
Kathryn spent some time chasing butterflies, and brought in a little nosegay of buddleia (butterfly bush) and two kinds of lavender. The flowers were beautiful and Kathryn was beaming.
My little girl will be ten years old in just a couple of weeks. Double-digits. A decade of life. My youngest. Thinking about my baby being ten years old can pretty easily make me a little melancholy, but I’m so blessed.
I love her little freckled nose…
May your last days of summer be blessed, too!

I’m a big fan of authentic conversation and always appreciate hearing what you have to say. Thanks for reading.
